I rap to save a life,

Poem about unleashing energy lyrically.

Image by Douglas James AKA Sir Douglas Fresh

I rap to save a life,

I rap because I love the flight,

Looking down on the world high as a kite,

And electrically I write, my name chiseled into bright,

Marble bars in the temple of imaginary site,

A gift that stays tight, always ready to be opened,

An expression of myself, I can share without losing,

And when they ask me what I’m doing, I’m really just honing my chi,

Pausing to breathe, Calling on me to be all I can be,

Cause the life that I’m saving when I write this is me,

Cause the life that I’m saving when I write this is me,
